Privacy Notice
This notice explains what happens to the personal data you submit through thecontact form on this site. Short version: your message reaches me by email, I reply, and that's it. I don't sell it, I don't send newsletters, and I don't build a database out of it.
1. Data controller

2. What data I process, and why

Form data is not stored in a database. Your message arrives as an email and stays in my inbox until the matter is resolved — for up to 2 years. If a contract results from it, billing records must be kept for 8 years under Hungarian accounting law.
3. Who else has access
Running this site involves three service providers, each using the data strictly for their own function:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and running the code that processes the form.
- Resend — delivering form submissions to my inbox by email.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) — bot filtering before submission. This shares your IP address and a technical identifier with them.
These companies may store data outside the EU; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable. Your data is never sold, and never passed on for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies
This site does not use analytics or marketing cookies, and does not track you across other sites. The bot filter may set a technically necessary identifier from Cloudflare — this doesn't require consent and cannot be used to target you with ads.
5. Your rights
You can request at any time that I:
- tell you what data of yours I hold (access),
- correct inaccurate data (rectification),
- delete your data (erasure),
- restrict processing,
- provide your data in a portable format,
- withdraw consent — this doesn't affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Write to contact@techmentors.huand I'll act within 30 days. No justification is needed for a deletion request.
6. If you disagree with something
Write to me first — most things can be resolved with one email. If that doesn't lead anywhere, you can file a complaint with Hungary's data protection authority (NAIH — Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., naih.hu), or turn to a court. NAIH is the competent authority here because the data controller is a Hungarian sole trader, regardless of the language a visitor reads this page in.
This notice reflects how the site actually works, but it does not substitute for legal advice. Before this goes live in production, it should be reviewed by a lawyer, and the missing company details above should be filled in with real data.
